🔍 Position Overview

Research Focus
You will develop and apply advanced genetic and genomic tools to enhance key maize traits, including:

• Photoperiod insensitivity

• Biotic and abiotic stress tolerance

• Nutritional quality improvement

🧪 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct molecular and field-based maize research

• Analyze high-throughput genomic datasets

• Publish in high-impact scientific journals

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams at Shandong AU and other leading Chinese institutions

🎓 Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Maize Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genomics, or a related discipline

• Experience with tools like QTL mapping, GWAS, CRISPR, or genomic selection is a plus

🧠 Desired Skills

• Strong foundation in maize breeding, bioinformatics, and statistical genetics

• Hands-on field phenotyping experience

• Proficiency in R, Python, and next-generation sequencing data analysis
