The Plant Pathology students can get GBP 4,000 undertaking an MSc/MRes/Mphil course via a university or a research institution. Which have significant plant pathology content. The British Society for Plant Pathology (BSPP) will fund upto 5 bursaries. Bursary will be awarded to each student on a competitive basis. To get the scholarship the students do not have to be existing BSPP members and don’t based in the UK.

 

How to use Bursary to support students on MPhil/MSc/MRes courses in a variety of ways, such as

  • Accommodation or other living cost can be paid by bursary
  • Course fee can be paid by bursary
  • If student visiting another institution for research project

Please note that bursary cannot to support consumable costs in any laboratory and intended to cover costs that would incurred by the students.

Require Documents:

  • Write down a statement letter of no more than 500 words, which should explain,
  • Why you chose to study Plant Pathology.
  • What areas of training are you interested in and why.
  • How much of amount you would you like to apply for.
  • What you intend to use the bursary to support, your course fee or for accommodation.
  • Please provide the full details of the courses you want to apply to or are already registered on and also provide it’s website;
  • Upload full CV (file must be saved with your full name)
  • Upload full transcript of your marks in your university studies to date (file must be saved with your full name).
  • Upload recommendation letter from your academic referee. The referee should know about this and provide the reference letter before the application closing date. Applications will not be considers if no reference provided.

After proof of registration the payment will be awarded to successful candidates (or on the formal letter from the hosting institute or university). Student can’t transfer money to another course. Funds will be  paid to student directly rather than the university or department.
